About 4 miles north of Sali, on the NE coast of Dugi Otok lies Luka (not to be confused with the many other Lukas)!
Thought to have been settled as far back as Roman times, Luka is a fishing village at the foot of the largest mountain on Dugi Otok. With the rich green slopes stretching down to the large bay, it’s an attractive spot.
There are no notable sights to see; it’s a place to chill out and relax with a beer or dine on the local fish. There is supposedly some therapeutic mud you can plaster yourself with in nearby Boka Bay but I can’t vouch for this (confirmation welcomed).
Basic provisions are available and there’s a restaurant – what more could you want?
