An almost tourist free fishing village, Mytikas is well worth a visit. It’s a sleepy place, with a good range of facilities but a pleasant absence of holiday activities. A place to visit just to be there.
The village sits on the promontory between two bays, in front of a short area of fertile land at the foot of the hills. It’s a charming spot and despite the limited number of visitors you will find a number of restaurants to chose from, cafe’s, bars, plenty of shops for provisioning, and a bank and ATM. It is reported to be a good stop for fresh fish.
