This small fishing village is in the midst of the area known as Kensington on Sea. The bay is surrounded by dense greenery. Tucked between the trees are the holiday mansions of well to do Greeks and celebrities. Nearby is the Rothschilds estate visited by many members of the UK Royal Family.
However, it remains a pretty and unspoilt place, being some distance from the main road and often passed by. There are several small jetties but these are usually full of local small boats. But there is plenty of room to anchor.
Ashore there is a modest beach and several good restaurants, interspersed with the odd cafe or bar. There are also a couple of mini markets.
This Agios Stefanos on the north east coast should not be confused with the other Agios Stefanos on the north west side of Corfu. It’s a quiet place to relax. What more could you want.
