In the far south west corner of Gocek Bay is the Wall bay restaurant, run by the family that some years ago used to run the now demolished restaurant round the corner in Deep Bay.
Set amongst the trees, it’s a shady spot. Food is cooked on a traditional open fire. As is usual around Gocek Bay, menus are a rare sight but here you get to see the food you’re choosing before it’s cooked. There’s a separate bar area for pre or post dinner drinks, or to refresh yourself after a game on the volleyball court.
As usual in the area, the place is equipped with the standard issue loo’s but there are no showers. Bread is available in the morning.
For a change of scene, take a walk around or dinghy over to Cleopatra’s Bay (Ruin Bay) opposite, where you can swim amongst the alleged ruins of Cleopatra’s bath house.
