Skiathos flotilla – 2 weeks

About the Skiathos flotilla

The Skiathos flotilla explores the Sporades islands in the east, through to the Gulf of Volos in the west.

Quick Choices - Sporades Flotillas
Base:LoutrakiDifficulty: IntermediateAirport: Skiathos
Flights from: Gatwick, Stansted, London City, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Manchester & Newcastle
Qualifications:to sail yourself: minimum ICC or RYA Coastal Skipper Practical
Other options: Skippers available

This is one of Greece’s quieter sailing areas. The bases around the islands have limited capacity and the more extensive facilities in Volos are hard to get to. So you can enjoy this beautiful area without rushing in to get a berth each night.

Around the islands you will find the further east you go, the quieter it gets, most tourists being happy to stay on Skiathos.

Going west it is a mixture of fishing villages and small holiday towns. But its stays true to its roots a it is primarily a holiday area for the Greeks, being hard to reach without a car.

This flotilla comprises two one week routes back to back. This give you a chance to explore alone on the middle weekend. The Lead Crew will brief you on options, which vary a little depending whether you go west first and then east, or the other way around.
