Agnondas is a pine fringed bay with one of Skopelos’ better beaches. After a cooling swim, you can dine on fresh fish on the beach. The bay is named after an Olympic winner from 596BC who landed here when returning home.
Agnondas also serves as the backup ferry port when conditions are too rough for the boats to enter Skopelos Town. This means there’s normally a large ferry quay to tie up to too – handy as there’s not too much room for anchoring.
In terms of facilities it’s fairly basic – three or four tavernas, a couple of bars, a hotel and that’s it.
