The village is in the corner of a large bay, pleasantly distant from recent holiday developments way over on the other side. The harbour has seen considerable investment with a large paved esplanade providing room for assorted market stalls.
There are a couple of restaurants on the front, with provisions available on the main street behind. A stony beach adjacent to the harbour provides a swimming spot as the local ducks with affirm!
